No Show Embroidery Backing (1.5 oz.) Soft, sheer, stable, and translucent nylon-reinforced cutaway backing. Specifically designed for left chest applications, eliminating the backing from showing through the garment. Ideal for lightweight, light-colored fabrics – keeps outlines on track when hooped in with your knit fabric. Can be used with a medium weight tearaway for added stability.

Works great for athletic apparel

I use this to embroider athletic jerseys, and have good results.

Having the backing pre-cut is very helpful.

My one suggestion would be to make it 1/2" wider so that when I use two layers and put on on the diagonal, it fits better in my 5.5" mighty hoop.

Tear away 8x8 stabilizer
